This weekend we have celebrated with joy the feast of St. Cecilia, patroness of music and head of the Montserrat’s church where this summer we opened the new Sean Scully Art Space. On Friday, the clarinettist Oriol Romaní starred in the first concert of this new stage included in the program of activities of the Sean Scully Art and Spirituality Institute of Santa Cecilia de Montserrat. The concert, entitled Meditations, was splendid. Romaní combined classic themes and jazz rhythms, and he also created an ideal atmosphere with introductory notes to each piece and some poetic thoughts. On the other hand, on Sunday 22 November we offered free entrance to the church, which received about eighty visitors. Thanks to everyone!
